Zesty green agave, fresh mint, vanilla, and orange blossom on the nose. The palate is beautifully structured — light caramel and cooked agave opening into brulee grapefruit, white pepper, and milk chocolate, with lemon zest and ripe stone fruit finishing clean and dry with lingering spice and warm tannins. Tequila Ocho is recognized as the first tequila to designate single-estate, single-field, vintage production — treating each rancho and harvest year the way a winery treats its vineyard blocks. Mirandillas is the 2024 single-estate field. Rested for 8 weeks and 8 days in ex-American oak whiskey barrels, the precise minimum to develop complexity without masking the highland terroir. Produced at NOM 1474 by Carlos Camarena. Certified additive-free. Available here in 1-liter format.
