Sweet agave, caramel, vanilla, and light baking spice on the nose — the La Alteña distillery character shining through the oak. The palate shows a well-balanced integration of cooked agave and barrel influence with soft vanilla, pepper, and a clean, medium finish. Bottled at 40% ABV. Tapatio Reposado is aged approximately 4 months in American oak at NOM 1139. Same traditional production as the blanco: tahona extraction, brick ovens, open-air fermentation with fibers, copper pot stills. A reliable, honest reposado from one of Mexico's most respected traditional distilleries.
