Agricole Rhum distilled from 100% estate-grown sugarcane by Rhum J.M in Martinique. Distilled in a Creole column still, and aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished an additional year in French oak. A generous bouquet of figs, dates, and gingerbread lead into tannic hits of pipe tobacco, and dried vanilla bean. Absent are the super grassy and vegetal notes of its unaged counterparts, taken over by the introduction of wood kept for years in tropical conditions.
