Pepper and oak on the nose with developing nutmeg, vanilla, and citrus highlights. The palate shows roasted agave with vanilla bean, nutmeg, and a smooth, peppery finish. Aged 15 to 18 months. Bottled at 40% ABV. Pezuna Blanca is a new line of USDA-certified organic tequilas from NOM 1480 (Tequila Las Americas) in the Amatitan Valley, Jalisco. The anejo uses natural environmental yeast for fermentation — no cultured strains — and is strictly additive-free. The brand name references the legend of a horse with a single white hoof, a symbol of fortune in Mexican culture. Each expression is presented in striking oversized ceramic bottles.
