Pierre Legras is the oldest ancestor of the Legras family, born in 1662. He was contemporary of Louis XIV and Dom Pérignon, who was a winegrower in Chouilly. Since then, it has been ten generations that the House passed from father to son, and the vineyard grown up in selecting the best Grand Cru terroirs of Chouilly, in the Marne. Today it is Vincent Legras - oenologist - who continues the story of the House. The vine-growing is there well thought coordinated and a particular attention is taken to respect the environment in each day action. The Champagen Orior by Pierre Legras is the result of blending 84% Chardonnay grapes and the remaining split in equal parts between Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes, grown in the best parcels of the Grand-Cru village of Chouilly and on the terroir of Epernay. The Champagne Brut expresses it's rich, deep and complex character in a unique way.
