A classic example of Italy’s most famous sparkling wine (or maybe most famous wine period), this offering from Il Soffione is a treat at its price point. Very pale straw yellow and fine, persistent perlage. The aroma is fruity and flowery with hints of ripe golden apple and small mountain flowers. The dry, fresh and flavourful sensation on the palate. Excellent with a charcuterie board of fatty meats and cheeses, seafood, and even Southeast Asian food.
