Mars Komagatake Japanese Single Malt 2024

The Komagatake Single Malt 2024 Edition is a new water mark for this historic Nagano based distillery. It is comprised of unpeated malts 4 years and older, that are primarily aged in ex-bourbon barrels with support from sherry and a variety of wine casks. Aromas of bright apricot, banana, and orange peel yields to warm spiced apple. Flavors of rich maple syrup, hazelnut, and persimmon jam follow, finishing with deep, sherry-like sweetness. 50% ABV.
