Annual, limited-release blended Japanese whisky from Mars Shinshu in Nagano, Japan. This is the distillery's core expression, Iwai Tradition, finished in ex-Pinot Noir and Cabernet casks from Mars Winery in Yamanashi. It is distilled from 70% malted barley and 30% corn. The nose shows aromas of toasted oats, strawberries, and sweet cream which transition to a palate of pomegranate molasses, rosemary, and pink peppercorn with a lingering hint of cinnamon.
