BATCH NOTES: Mash Bill- 100% heirloom rye
FINISHING AND MATURATION: 4+ years in new 53 gallon charred oak barrels
TASTING NOTES: The nose reveals a wonderful balance of dried fruit and baking spices along with complex wood notes. The palate is relatively mild for a 100% rye, but there is still plenty of cinnamon, clove, pepper, toffee, book-leather, and fresh-cut oak. The finish is medium length with more spice and a thick texture.
