The palate is balanced — sweet agave front-to-back with vanilla, caramel, a touch of chocolate, and dry oak on the finish. Elegant and restrained. Bottled at 40% ABV. El Tesoro is produced at La Alteña Distillery (NOM 1139) in Arandas, Jalisco — one of the most revered traditional distilleries in Mexico. Master Distiller Carlos Camarena uses a tahona stone wheel for extraction, brick oven cooking, and fermentation with agave fibers. The anejo rests in ex-American oak barrels. El Tesoro has been a benchmark for traditional, additive-free production for decades.
