Sweet creamy vanilla, baked banana, tropical citrus, and lavish baking spice on the nose. The palate is round and lightly tannic with toasty coconut, caramel, grilled pepper, rich spice, and an elegant minerality. Long finish of grilled citrus, minerals, and cinnamon. Bottled at 40% ABV. Don Fulano Anejo is a blend of tequilas aged a minimum of 30 months in French Limousin oak at La Tequilena Distillery (NOM 1146) in Tequila, Jalisco. Estate-grown highland agaves are distilled to 50-55% ABV, cut with deep-well demineralized water, then aged without charcoal filtration or additives. French oak drives the flavor distinctly away from American oak-aged peers, contributing wine cask complexity, vanilla, and subtle tannic structure.
