Distilled in 2004 in a column still. Made from a mashbill of 78.5% corn, 13% rye, and 8.5% malted Barley. The nose is rich and sweet with brown sugar, roasted nuts, vanilla and caramel covered cherries notes. The palate starts off with big vanilla and dry oak notes followed by caramel, warm spices and toasted rye bread. The finish is long, warm and dry with oak, vanilla, strawberry jam and baking spice notes.
