One of three releases from Camus shining a light on Ile de Ré, an island just off the shore of western France near La Rochelle that's within Bois Ordinaires. Matured initially in a damp cellar on Ile de Ré, the eaux-de-vie is transported to the mainland and given a second maturation in old barrels. A brilliant amber color with toasted and subtle spiced aromas. The palate is a subtle and smooth balance between honey, smoke, and rich candied fruit, with a distinct orange finish.
