Sweet and fragrant on the nose — cherry, vanilla, mild oak, and a Bordeaux wine influence. The palate is spicy and peppery with sweet vanilla, a subtly tart red fruit note, and a smooth, fruity finish. The natural pink-rose color comes from the wine casks. Asombroso La Rosa is the first Bordeaux wine barrel-rested tequila in the world — a 100% highland Blue Weber agave blanco rested for 3 months in previously used French oak Bordeaux casks. The wine barrels impart the pale rose hue and the fruity overlay on the agave base. Made from highland agave in Jalisco. Gold Medal, Tasting Panel Magazine.
