Amrut Fusion gets its name from the fact that that it's made from both Scottish and Indian-grown barley. The Scottish barley is peated to balance out the whisky's barley-sugar notes. The nose delivers big citrus and sweet creamy notes with peat giving way to a rich oaky and fruity palate. As the flavors develop into dark chocolate and coffee, warm spices carry through a long finish with a hint of marmalade.
