This wine pays homage to the history of the region and its native and non-native grapes, utilizing a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot and 5% Mammolo, Canalolo and Colorino. Wildly fresh with vibrant bright cherries, dusty rose and hints of wet stone. This is silky in feel yet nicely balanced, with plumb red berries and inner violet tones. Purple-tinged florals, lavender and hints of licorice linger with just a subtle tug of residual acids.
