Szikra, which translates to "spark" in Hungarian, is a fitting name for this wine. Szikra is mouthwatering and delicious, with fresh acidity and sharp minerality. Szikra is a 100% direct pressed Riesling grown in young vineyards. The free-run juice is aged in Austrian oak, while the pressed juice goes into French oak barrels. Szikra is blended before bottling, and it is unfined, unfiltered, and sulfur-free. Expect citrus, pear, and apricot notes, as well as a medium body and a strong finish, in addition to freshness and minerality.
