This whisky is a blend of some of the most unique distilleries Scotland has to offer with single malt whisky from Caol Ila and Linkwood and grain whisky (predominantly wheat) from Girvan, one of the largest grain whisky distilleries in Scotland with each individual whisky aged in its own hogshead.
It is agile, simple and clear, put together by picking and choosing here and there. Shocking on nosing, balsamic and effervescent. On tasting, a grand mix of dried fruits, almonds and toasted pistachio. We bask in the aroma of the sea, mysterious and majestic to the east and transported by a summer breeze while beyond the cliffs the sun slowly dips below the horizon.
