Deep butterscotch and vanilla dominate the nose, with caramel, cinnamon, and dried fruit underneath. The palate is medium-bodied and approachable — warm corn sweetness layered with mild pepper, coconut, and a ripened fruit finish. Toasted oak wraps up a medium-long close. Bottled at 41.7% ABV. Classified as American Whiskey rather than bourbon because it is aged in previously used bourbon-soaked barrels — a deliberate choice by Michter's to develop a distinct flavor profile outside the bourbon ruleset. No grain neutral spirits, hence the 'unblended' designation. Released in small batches by Master Distiller Dan McKee, who approves every batch before release.
