This wine is grown in soil composed of an ancient seabed, decomposed granite and clay. Each clone was harvested separately and vinified 100% destemmed. Èlevage was in neutral 59gal barrique, with the three lots being racked together one (new) moon before bottling. This bold and balanced wine has flavors of oak, dark berries, and notes of pepper with hints of raspberry and graphite.
