Pandan is an aromatic plant widely grown and appreciated in Southeast Asia. There are 750 species found in Asia, Africa and Oceania. Its long blades shaped leaves have a distinctive & delicate perfume. It is widelu used in dishes and beverages in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, Maldive, India… The plant is nicknamed « Asia’s vanilla », because of its aromas of vanilla, almond and butter.
