Vanilla, Mediterranean citrus, fresh herbs, and a touch of pine, with the sage, thyme, and honey notes of the Greek islands woven through a smooth, aromatic palate.
Kavo, from CoreBev Group founder Stelios Stavrianos, was introduced as the world's first Greek rum, made from sugar cane and distilled with Greek bergamot, Santorini mandarins, sage, honey, vanilla, thyme, and mastic from Chios, a nod to his Greek immigrant parents. "Asimi" is Greek for silver, and the rum was made in the Peloponnese, taking about three years to develop and winning a Platinum Award at the 2023 Sommelier Challenge.
