Ichiro's Tomodachi Koshu Wine Cask Whisky No. B0075 Saitama, Japan

The second of two exclusive blends for Chichibu Party 2026 held across select American cities, Ichiro's Tomodachi Cask Whisky #B0075 is the sister release to #B0125. Both were a vatting of roughly 100 barrels of whisky from around the world (including Chichibu's own single malt) but this release is a majority malt whisky and leans into stronger peat smoke. The whiskies are approximately 10 years in age which are blended at Chichibu and then finished in Japanese Koshu white wine casks for 2.5 more years. Savory aromatics of smoked almonds, bittersweet cocoa powder, and a mesquite like sweetness open the door to this intensely flavored blend. The combination of flavors in this whisky is wild, leading with intense smoke, earl grey, fudgy chocolate, and toffee, that are tied together with bitter orange peels.
