Ichiros Malt & Grain Blended Whiskey 111 proof, Japan

Candied fruit sweetness, caramel, and robust spice are shot through with smoky complexity from the peated malt in the blend, giving a bolder, more adventurous profile than its lower proof sibling.

This is the high strength version of Chichibu's world blend, bottled at 55.5% ABV, or 111 proof. Ichiro Akuto still pairs Chichibu malt with whiskies sourced from around the world, including peated malt, and the extra strength gives the blend a punch that stands up as well in a cocktail as it does neat.
