The 2019 Honig Cabernet Sauvignon is soft, fruity, balanced, and full bodied with round and juicy tannins. The wine was aged 18 months in American and French oak, 35% new. On the smooth palate there are flavors of blackberry, red plum, and raspberry fruit with notes of cranberry, black tea, spice, leather, oak, vanilla, and coriander seed. The finish is long and toasty. It should pair well with a roasted pork loin roast.
