We love this (rare) white from the famed Marsannay appellation of the Cotes de Nuits. Relatively unique for white Burgundy the wine includes 20% Pinot Blanc, the Chardonnay giving fruity aromas whereas the Pinot Blanc brings roundness and body. Aged for 18 months in older oak barrels, this white delivers citrus, stone fruit and quince in abundance, with a complex yet balanced finesse. Just an awesome wine for the summer (and all year for that matter).
