Pure agave on the nose with lowland earthiness — herbaceous, vegetal, and slightly mineral compared to a highland blanco. Clean and unadorned on the palate with bright agave character, a touch of citrus, and a smooth, dry finish. Bottled directly after distillation, unaged. Lowland tequila grown in the Jalisco valley tends toward earthier, more herbal profiles where highland tequila trends sweeter and more floral. Aldez Blanco is sourced from a single organic estate in the lowlands, USDA-certified and EU-certified organic. Agave are cooked in traditional brick ovens for nearly three days, and each bottle is made of recycled glass. NOM 1480. No glycerin, no additives.
