Alambique Serrano Besadiablos Oaxaca, Mexico

“Besadiablos” is a five cask blend of pot still and Krassel still rums. The spiritual successor to 2024's Matadiablo release, it was produced from Java sugarcane harvested at 3000+ feet above sea level in the mountains of Santa Maria Tlalixtac, Oaxaca. After aging in New French Oak, New Hungarian Oak, exRed Wine, ex-Rum American Oak, and Ex-Bourbon American Oak casks it was bottled at a cask strength of 59.6% abv with no water, sugar, nor coloring added. The notes are almost as mix of bourbon and brandy with healthy amounts of mixed orchard fruits, caramel and spices, leather and tobacco. Limited.
