2024 Paul Ponnelle Pinot Noir, Pays d’Oc, France

Bright ruby. Strawberry, cherry, and pink flowers on the nose with a light mineral thread. On the palate, red fruit, gentle spice, soft tannins, and a clean finish with fresh acidity.

A joint project between Beaune-based négociant Nicholas Schilling and The Marchetti Company, sourcing Pinot Noir from the Languedoc where the climate produces consistent, fruit-forward expressions of the grape at a fraction of Burgundy prices.
