The always favorite co-ferment of joy from Tom Lubbe. Full of silky red fruit, great acidity and a touch of earth. This is so reflective of what Matassa wines are intended to be, easy and fun with a great shareability. Definitely give it a chill. A blend of old vines (50+ year old) Grenache Noir, Grenache Gris, Macabeu planted to Limestone and clay soil. Grapes are co-fermented in concrete, 3 day maceration, then pressed back into concrete tank for aging. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. The estate is certified organic.
