Sourced from risk-taking vineyards in Northern California, this blend features unique and rare grape varieties: Trousseau Noir (42%), Cabernet Pfeffer (20%),Gamay (30%), and Poulsard (8%). Trousseau induces pomegranate and raspberry. Cab Pfeffer, historically mistaken for Trousseau, reveals distinct fresh black pepper and rose hip aromas. Gamay adds striking bright,red-fruited notes, while Poulsard contributes lively acidity. Inspired by the wines of the French Alps, this “Outré Vin” reflects a Californian pastiche. Despite a general California designation, it defies expectations. All components were fermented in tank and aged in neutral oak barrels separately, partially carbonic for brightness and all whole cluster adding to the complex spice aromas with delicate, lean, and mineral-driven qualities
