A single site offering from Romain Guiberteau, this wine comes off lighter and more discreet than the standard Cabernet Franc yet still dark and fresh. Quintessential unoaked Saumur with raspberries, forest berries, violets and clear green notes like tomato leaf and green bell pepper on the nose. Some spice in there as well. Slender palate with great fruit all the way through. Juicy and precise. Well balanced with a tight dry finish.
