Langhe DOC, Piedmont. Ceretto's Blangé is the benchmark expression of Arneis, the indigenous Piedmontese white that was nearly extinct before the Ceretto family helped revive it in the 1970s alongside Bruno Giacosa. Stainless steel vinification preserves the variety's signature aromatics: white peach, pear, acacia blossom, and a faint almond bitterness on the finish that's the grape's calling card. Medium body, low tannin, refreshing acidity. The 2023 vintage in Piedmont was warm and dry, which gives this more richness and less nervous energy than cooler years — riper fruit, slightly rounder texture, still clean and varietally precise.
