2022 Maison Belles Cotes Sancerre “Les Caillottes”, Loire, France

Our Sancerre is produced from vines with an average age of 30 years, mainly planted on a limestone soil locally called “Les Caillottes”. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, aging on fine lees, no use of oak. A dry white wine with flowery fruit flavors on the palate, pleasantly combines smoothness and freshness. The first sensations on the palate reveal a subtle and rich aromatic array, with a refined and silky ‘lemon-sorbet’ texture.
