Delicate and expressive, with notes of red cherry, raspberry, violet, and subtle spice. The palate is silky and precise, framed by fine tannins and a mineral finish that speaks of limestone soils.
Domaine Michel Lafarge Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2022 is a pure, elegant red Burgundy from one of Volnay’s most revered traditional producers. The Lafarge family has been making wine since the early 19th century and continues to farm biodynamically under Frédéric Lafarge’s direction. Grapes for this cuvée come from old-vine parcels just outside the Volnay appellation, planted on limestone-rich soils. Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts in cement vats, followed by aging in older French oak barrels to maintain freshness and authenticity.
