100% Grenache from old vines (over 50 years of age) 

• Aged 8 months in American oak barrels. The wine displays and attractive red colour with layers. Bright colour. Clean powerful aromas of ripe red and black fruits with cacao and coffee bean notes. On the palate one finds spices, toasty hints and mature notes, with a perfectly integrated tannic structure. On the finish the wine is rich, elegant, powerful and frutit driven. 

Our Care Garnacha Nativa has deep and flavorful expression of dark chery, raspberry, and mocha with a smooth and luscious body and lengthy finish. These rich aromas and flavors come from historic Grenache vinevards within the higher elevations of Carinena, where our oldest vines are. Care Garnacha Nativa is a great expression of the native grape of Spain and Carinena. It was from here that Grenache spread throughout the world and is native expression remains cherished amongst aficionados. It is a wine with a Mediterranean Face.

D.O.P. Cariñena, North-east of Spain. Altitude from 600 to 800 meters, Continental- Mediterranean climate, scarce rainfall below 250 liters, cold and dry wind called Cierzo. Rocky and poor soils.
