2021 Ovum “Gorge” Sound White Blend, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

Gorge Sound is a dry, white blend (predominantly Riesling) that’s an aromatic combination of asian pear smashed with candied ginger and fresh tobacco. The fruit on the nose is wrapped in earthiness, but the palate unfolds with rich textures and bright acidity…an unusual pairing indeed.
