2021 Monte del Frá Rosé, Chiaretto di Bardolino, Italy

A classy pink wine made from the traditional grape varieties grown to the south-east of Lake Garda - Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. A wonderful pale pink in color, this is an elegant rosé wine with floral, fruity and herbaceous aromas such as white flowers, berries, red currant, nectarine, apricot, lychee, melon and a gentle touch of white pepper. The palate is fresh and dry with delicate flavors mirrored in the aromas, leading onto a long finish. This is a very versatile rosé style of wine, excellent as an aperitif, it also pairs perfectly with pizza, Italian appetizers, pasta and Asian cuisine amongst others.
