The grapes are from outside of the town of Las Mesas that possess a rocky topsoil that collects heat of the sun during the day to keep the vines warm in the cold nights of this desert-like region. They entrust winemaker Antonio Ponce to usher their organic and biodynamically grown grapes through fermentation and into the bottle. The red liter is a field blend of several different white and red grape varieties. As the name implies this is an juicy, light bodied wine full of notes of fresh herbs, strawberries, wet stone, and soft tannins.
