Cuvée Spéciale Tibouren is Clos Cibonne’s easy-drinking, elegant red wine, made mainly from the native Tibouren grape with a small percentage of Grenache. Tibouren is an ancient variety indigenous to Provence, where there are fewer than 500ha planted. Clos Cibonne is the producer who works most closely with the grape, which is known for its scented herbal aromas. The wine spends just four months in old oak barrels. The nose is very pretty, with fresh aromas of red fruits, roses, pot pourri, and garrigue, with firm but light tannins.
