2020 Raina “Le Campette” Rosso, Umbria, Italy

Raina is an organic estate based in the center of Umbria in a town known as Monetefalco, the home of Sagrantino. "Le Campette '' is a red wine which synthesizes the Sangiovese energy, the Merlot smoothness and the Sagrantino tannic structure. It is born from the hills of Umbria after aging for 24 months in big oak barrels. It expresses warm scents of wild berries, sweet spices and dried roses and on the palate it is full-bodied, long and structured.
