Vignobles Arbeau was started in 1878, when Anne Arbeau's great great grandmother purchased the estate. About 50% of the estate is planted with Negrette, of which this wine is made. This is a smooth and intense red wine. On the nose there is raspberry, blackberry and wild blueberry. The palate is meaty, with hints of liquorice. Velvety tannins. Elegant and very pleasant. This wine goes very well with red meats and strong cheeses.
