Dark red berries and black cherries mingle with violets. This wine offers up some traits of dark red raspberry and blueberry fruits that comes with a floral aromatic lift. There is an underlying dark meaty, mixed spice character as the wine moves through the palate; it feels silky initially before revealing a finely woven structure through the finish. Mid weight tannins and good acidity provide the structure to give this wine focus and a lengthy finish. It’s fairly light but complete and satisfying, with an underlying minerality.
