2019 Jean-Luc & Eric Burguet "Symphonie" Gevrey- Chambertin, Burgundy, France

The Gevrey-Chambertin "Symphonie" is made from 40 year old vines from small village level parcels with clay and limestone soil. This wine has a delightful red cherry and bergamot bouquet that unfolds seductively in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Very harmonious on the finish, which feels caressing. This comes highly recommended.
