In early 2012, just outside of Cornville, AZ,  30 acres were planted on what we refer to as the Eliphante Block. Here there are mostly Italian clones, with a few Spanish and French as well.  A graceful and elegant red composed of 100% Garnacha (Grenache) traversed by supple purity and lush richness. Aromas of strawberry, licorice and cotton candy and musk cologne. Earthy notions of garden soil and mushroom joined by suggestions of raspberry, pepper, allspice, and apple pie. ​
