Grapes from Bruno Rocca’s estate are hand harvested and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. The wine spends 12 months in a French oak barrique before bottling. Color is a bright yet deep garnet red. The bouquet is very wide and intense with scents of ripe fruit (plums, blackberries, cherries and red mulberry). A further whiff reveals walnut cupule, spice, pink pepper and final hints of toasted almond. The palate is mouth-filling, warm, savory and harmonic, with a round, gentle and elegant expression
