The 2019 Secateurs, a blend of Cinsault, Shiraz, Grenache, Tinta Barocca and Mourvedre, offers attractive mulberry, dark chocolate and cedar scents on the nose that transport you directly to the wilds of the Capelands. Lovely definition and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh opening. While the aromatics intimate a lush Swartland blend, this is in fact much stricter and more linear.
