Arnaud Lambert is a rising star in the Loire Valley. He is known for single vineyard offerings of Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. He took over the iconic Chateau de Brézé winery and has been working to bring it back to worldwide acclaim. 100% de-stemmed, indigenous yeast fermentation, no pump-overs, in tank. Aged for 24 months in barrel (30% new oak and 70% 1 to 2 years old), 2 months blending and settling in tank before bottling (no fining or filtration), aged an additional 12 months in bottle before release. The resulting wine is elegant, ethereal almost, with notes of blackberry, black plum and graphite.
