Grus is named after a constellation visible above the Elqui Valley, whose clear skies are prized by stargazers. It’s a blend of Syrah, Garnacha, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot, grown at over 1700 meters altitude, where the grapes become fully ripe without losing their refreshing acidity. Dark purple. Blackcurrant, blackberry, cola, and thyme. Some light chocolate as well. Sweet spice, plum, white pepper and graphite on the palate. Fine tannins. Medium finishing.
