Intense and complex aromas pop from the glass: cherry, plum, licorice, and cocoa. The smooth palate shows power as well as elegance. It is not the typical dark and drying Amarone. It has freshness thanks to the altitude of the vineyard and the high chalk composition in the marl soil. Pair the Prà Amarone with meat, especially if flavored with spices and aromatic herbs. The wine also works well with mature cheese, particularly Parmigiano Reggiano.
